Most apples require another apple variety for pollination.  Some are pollen sterile and will not pollinate other varieties.  To use the Pollination Chart:

1. Select the desired variety to be pollinated from the top of the chart.

2. Potential pollinizers are listed in the column beneath the desired variety.

3. If the intersecting square is white the variety will be pollenized.

4. If the intersecting square is black the variety will not be pollenized.

5. If the intersecting square is grey the variety is partly self-fertile but cross-pollination will improve fruit set.
