Most
apples require another apple variety for pollination. Some are pollen sterile and will not pollinate other
varieties. To use the Pollination
Chart:
1.
Select the desired variety to be
pollinated from
the top of the chart.
2.
Potential pollinizers are listed in the column beneath the desired
variety.
3.
If the intersecting square is white the variety will be pollenized.
4.
If the intersecting
square is black the variety will not be pollenized.
5.
If the intersecting square is grey the variety is partly self-fertile but
cross-pollination will improve fruit set.
